  7. Good Practices in Education Models in European Youth

I have been in UK this year with my three friends and the leader of our Euroteam because of the project called Good practices in education models in European youth. The project lasted 8 days (9-18 of March 2016) and we stayed in the countryside at a place named Finchcocks.
We arrived at the Heathrow airport in London on Wednesday and after that we went by bus to our new „home“. The place was really amazing. The nature was beautiful, around the house there were a lot of horses and sheep, it looked like a paradise.
Every day we had special program and national evenings, so I learned a lot about other countries, their habits, national food, music and political and educational systems. For example now I know Latvian dance and Turkish wedding ceremony. I also improved my English during communication with the others. I learned how to exchange pounds and I tasted English food. I love Czech food, but their food was lovely too. In the evenings of national cusine I was trying lot of foreign food, it was really good! I talked to the radio too, first time I was shy, but it was amazing experience for me. The last two days we spent in London (the capital city in UK ). I saw famous places such as Big ben, London Eye, Buckingham Palace or The Houses of Parliament. London is a beautiful city and I want to come back some day.
In this project I found a lot of friends and I learned so much! I hope that I will attend a similar project in the near future. I am happy that I could be there.

  8. My memories of the project in England.

The Czech team went for a long trip to England, more precisely to a „deserted‘‘ place Finchcocks oast. After a long travel waiting at the airport and wandering we finally were on the spot. The first response : No one could find a word! Such a beautiful place we have never seen before, we did not expect such a luxury, we felt like in a fairy tale.

The first impression made on us was the Turkish team who were smiling and immediately met with us. The second day was such a relaxing - we are having terrific Italian girls and surroundings. Every day there were different and interesting workshops. We learned a lot about education in other countries.

However, I personally liked the fun during international evenings. But most of all enjoyed cooking (international food of all countries), London and dancing in front of the Tv in Finchcoks oast. One beautiful day we all took a walk to Scotney Castle and we tasted the traditional tea with milk.

Also, I must not forget to mention the beautiful hotel in Wembley where we were no longer all together, but we could visit other parts of London, take a short walk from the hotel, to a football stadium and the train station and we could easily get to London, where we went together with the Turkish team. We enjoyed it, because on that day (March 17) it was St. Patrick's day! It was such a revival of the last evening.

I think we enjoyed the whole project, because there were the people who made the right atmosphere for the project. I brought the beautiful memories and experiences on this project. I'm sure I'm not the only one who didn't want to go home, we made such beautiful chummy relationship! I'm really glad that I could go to this project with Euroteam. I hope I will meet some people some time again!

  9. My memories of the project in England.
I am so thrilled of Good Practices in Education Models in European Youth project, which was held from 9th - 18th of March 2016. At the beginning I would like to mention and comment venue Finchcocks Oast, which was absolutely amazing. I think, that everyone was impressed with the beautiful place. It would be hard to get there without the project. Surroundings was also amazing. I liked the countryside with horses and sheep.
But what is more important? People who participated in the project. Friendly cast guarantees excellent running of the whole project. In this project, these countries were represented : Czech Republic, Italy, Turkey, Latvia, Portugal, Great Britain and Serbia. It's great to live in a time that allows me to gain new information and friends from different countries.
I am so satisfied with the project. I liked those workshops and games. I also liked that every evening we learned something new about a certain country. Or, for example, a day of national cuisine was great. We tasted so many delicious foods. Program and leisure time was well balanced, I'm glad we had time even to ourselves, which we mostly used for communication with other participants in the project. Or even that we went to look around the neighborhood, and the last day to London. I saw London at night!

I personally felt sorry when we had to go back home, because the project has delivered me from the stereotype to which I had to return again. I think we certainly need those kind of projects. I would like to involve. I felt really positive about that project. Thank you!
