Good practices in EU Youth- Portugal Team

Good practices in EU Youth- Portugal Team

When I knew that I was accepted to go to this Project I was so excited, not just because it was in London but to know that I will have fun, meet so many people with different cultures.
I can say that I love some much this project, it was the best project I participated, everything go so right, everything was so perfect, sometimes I think everything was a dream or imagination, we learn some many thing, how education is on each country, everyone show their own culture that own country and every country show that country in presentation how good their country was, what can they offer for the tourist, their story, the gastronomy. It was so amazing see different nationality communicating in ingles is amazing how we can understand each other in one language.
This project was very good for me, make me feel more comfortable more confident about myself, I was hurry to talk ingles because I know how to talk but I was not use to talk , but now I know I can talk I can understand ingles and that is really good. It was an amazing experience on my life that I will never forget.

My experience at FinchcocksOast
It was my first time in a Erasmus project with my school,at the beginning I was very anxious to go out and being for a whole week away from my family. But all that anxious goes away when I get at Finchcocks and saw all that new girls and boys from different countries. It was something so different that I make friends and came back to Portugal with a big lagged of memories. I really hope to see all of them at another project and just have a beautiful experience.
I really advice every student our young boy/girl to participate on Erasmus project and just to be a open mind person because we are always getting a lot of challenges with everyone.
I loved my experience at Finchcocks with the Romanian organization and with all Euroteams, it was amazing I definitely want to do it again, so count with me for another project and amazing experience with beautiful people.
Thank you for everything I'm very grateful.

We spent a lot of good, interesting and didactic days in Finchcocks, that were very useful for us to know more about the education in each country present, and, of course, practice and even learn more English.

There were workshops every day in which they made us think more about subjects, discuss ideas and divergences between each subject that was presented. We learned a lot about the differences and similarities on the educational systems of each country, discovered new cultures, games and new ways to relax and de-stress.

In the end we left enriched with a wide variety of knowledge, new acquirements about the various participant countries and created many friendships.

This is my favorite quote from Dale Carnegie, a very famous writer and author who developed is work in self-improvement and interpersonal skills among others.

Curiously (or not) it seems to me that it matches with our great days in Finchkocks. Enjoy:

« Today is life
The only life you're sure of.
Take the most you can get out of it

Sometimes, the good comes when we most need it and least expect it. If we are lucky enough to notice it, set our eyes upon it and appreciate it, it can almost make us forget all of the bad. Today is life. The only life you're sure of. Make the most of today. »
